baby clothing?
diapers?
You could always go look at their registry.
Books on managing money, sexy love, and having children.Or maybe a gift card to an adult toy store.
maybe a coupon for a pedicure or manicure to relax before the wedding.
A visa/Mastercard gift card.
They can use them like cash, wherever they are accepted and they can pay off whatever they want.
Make a at home date night basket. I know a lot of couples are saving where they can, and being able to not have to spend on a date night is nice. It can be used before or after the wedding.
Put together everything they would need for a "night in side"
Example: Movie Night basket
Local Pizza place Gift Card
Two DVDs (action and comedy)
Candy: Whoppers, Sour Patch Kids, Chocolate Covered Raisins
Pop Corn(microwave)
6 pack of Soda
Picture frames, photo albums, items that they are going to need, gift cards.
There are usually themes for the bridal shower. Keep with the theme like sometime it is lingerie, sometimes it is kitchen appliances, etc. If there is a theme pleas keep with the theme. If there is no theme, I would get a gift card to where ever she has her bridal registry.
Personal Fave – kitchen fire extinguisher and cookbook!
My best friend gave me the best gift. She bought like a huge photo collage frame and inserted pics from my husbands and my life together. We have been 2gether since high school. It was really great seeing the memories. Now it hangs in our hallway.
A gift certificate to a spa in town – she’ll love it!
something personalized for the couple would be cute. like a picture frame they can put a wedding picture in. and have it say something cute. they will love it im sure,
I do towel cakes…it’s always a hit and easy.
Go buy towels from the registry in the color she wants. If you don’t go a neutral color like white or tan always works. Blankes, or sheets works well too.
Roll them up and put them together to look like a wedding cake. perhaps even add a real stand that they can use on wedding day. Decorate with some ribbon and a fake flower or two if you really want to take it to the top.
As the "topper" you can make a rag flower or tuck in a few beauty products.
The Joy of Cooking is one of the best gifts I got at my shower.
For $18 (on sale) you can get the frame below. It has been the hit of every shower I have ever been to. The bride loved it and the guests were jealous their gift didn’t get as much attention. You wont’ regret it.
How about a certificate for Omaha steaks or the fruit of the month club? Sounds hokey, but food gifts are often more useful because people won’t get two of them (and if they do, no one is hurt if they are shared with someone else).
Some beautiful, elegant lingerie.
