How much does a permit cost ?
And I just want it to be my fiance; our 2 best friends; and our parents; and our siblings. So about 10 people.
We need seating; decorations; invites&thank you letters; candles; the cake; flowers; carpet; the reserved beach; the rings; and the dress; and the tux.

My stepson is planning a beach wedding in Florida next August. I am not very tolerant of the heat, so I would rather not wear a formal gown, but at the same time, I don’t want to be too informal for a wedding. My future step daugther in law will be wearing a traditional wedding dress and my step son wants to wear a tux (yes, a tux, in August, in Florida, on the beach!).

I know a lot of designers are catering to the informal destination wedding for bridal gowns. Does anyone know of any designers who are catering to these types of weddings for the mother of the bride/groom?
TB–I tried. They were in Florida a couple weeks ago scouting out resorts to have the wedding and the wedding coordinators tried to tell them too. They will hear nothing of it. They basically want to have a regular church wedding, but on a beach in Florida. And it’s their wedding…if he wants to spend it passed out from heat exhaustion, who am I to judge?

My fiance and I are at a disagreement about the destination of the wedding. We were going to do it on the beach of Cape Cod but I’m thinking that the Dress Blues with the Sword detail would be too formal for an informal location, but he seems to think it’ll look nice. I just can’t get a picture for it, so if anyone has any pictures or examples of a USMC Beach wedding in Full Dress Uniforms, please let me know. Or if you know of anyone that did it, then let me know how it looked. Thank you very much.

we’re getting married in myrtle beach in july at 6pm. my guy is the type to rarely dress up and when he does, its khaki shorts and a decent short sleeve dress shirt. he gets really hot even in the dead of winter. his normal attire is basketball shorts and t-shirt. he very, very rarely wears pants because they make him hot. but i’m wearing a strapless wedding dress in our wedding. its white and i had it raised above my feet because we’re going shoeless since its on the beach and i cant see wearing shoes for that. i just dont know what to dress him in!
