I am getting married in a courthouse by a Justice of the Peace on April 9th… My wedding dress is long and white and flowing, not fitted to my body because I will be 8 months pregnant at my wedding! It’s a beach type wedding dress. Anyways, since we are still dressing up in a wedding dress and suit/tie would it be okay if I wore a veil? I wouldn’t want a long veil just something shorter maybe to my bottom or half way down my back… that clips in my hair in the back. Do you know anyone who had a courthouse wedding and wore a veil? We’re also getting pictures and everything done at a nearby park so I kind of want to have a veil on in those at least… We will have 20 ppl at the wedding as guests so it’s kind of like a small wedding, but without the church and bridal party. Again, I’m turning to the wonderful people of the world to help me with my wedding planning, since apparently otherwise I am doing it by myself. I’m thinking khaiki Lee dunggery shorts for the guys & Tommy Bahma shirt. That is a solid color & the girls in the same solid color or the same color in that print. With different companies its so hard to find something that matches. I also want them to be able to wear it again.
My girls are way to easy going if I had them wear puke green/yellow they would be happy because its what I wanted.

My guy and I are planning on getting married on the beach in Hawaii. No bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls, or ring bearers. Just us, the minister, and those family members who could make the trip out with us. Our plan was to rent a house on the beach for our immediate family and walk out from there.

I’m looking at an ivory dress (since pure white doesn’t look right on me) and we were going to find him a nice linen shirt with some pants. For the guests, I figure let them wear what they are comfortable in.

My guy says that at least for his family, especially his mother and sister, we need to be more specific of exactly what we want them to wear. Here’s the thing, I’m not trying to micromanage someone’s wardrobe and I want people to be comfortable.

Is it unreasonable to think that most people in the world can figure out that if they are going to a beach wedding in Hawaii, that the guys wear a nice shirt and slacks, perhaps shorts, and the women wear a nice dress, perhaps a sun dress?

Do I really need to explicitly say "No jeans, t-shirts, holes, or stains"? He thinks I need to be explicit, but my thought is if his family wants to be immortalized in photography wearing jeans and a t-shirt to our wedding then thats on them.

I have some friends that are getting married the last week of april in St. Petersburg FL on the beach either in the afternoon or the evening. Because of the design of the dress, I obviously can’t wear a strapless bra. I am a 38C and my breasts are not saggy or anything, but I want to push them up and make sure I have something that will support them and stay put almost invisibly. Any suggestions?

I am trying to coordinate my wedding colors. I really like the blue and green idea but now I am having trouble and dont know if they will work. Whats your thoughts on the combo? I would prefer blue dresses with a green sash for the girls, tan suits for the guys with white shirts and a green and blue stripped tie. Then my decision gets harder with the flowers. Do I just keep it blue and green or should I add some pinks into them? Please help. Any pictures would be great!
