What should a guest wear to a beach wedding you may be asking. It really depends on the specific locale and what the bride and groom are wearing. Some beach wedding couples go for the traditional wedding attire without shoes and others decide to opt for the casual beach wedding style.
Beach weddings can vary, depending on the style of each wedding. Some couples may go a little more casual and even barefoot for the ceremony on the shore. Others may do it a little more traditional. Of course, everything has to vary slightly at least, due to the conditions. For instance, sandals rather than shoes, for one thing.
If a bride’s train or dress is long, one has to account for the fact that you are going to sink into the sand a little bit. So, a guest should also account for the sand as well and think about the length of your dress.
You can find some dressy, yet casual clothes that are neat, yet light and comfy for the hot and breezy conditions of the beach. Linen, cotton, silk and rayon do well as far as material goes. You don’t want to look like a beach bum, but
you are not going to do well in a traditional dress or suit on the sandy shores.
