Destination wedding…?

Hi everyone! My fiance and I really want to get married somewhere warm with a beautiful beach OUT of the united states. We were thinking Mexico, but will all the hurricane devastation and flooding, that is a bad idea. We are thinking Barbados or the US or British Virgin islands…has anyone out there had a destination wedding? Where? Details please!

My daughter is getting married on Dec 28 in Jamaica. She looked at Mexico too, but decided against it as she felt there was too much work involved. In Mexico the official language is spanish, so all the documents have to be translated back & forth. Mexico also requires a blood test (that must be done in Mexico)
In Jamaica all that was required was a copy of your passport & birth certificate. Our lawyer certified the copies and then thjey were sent to the resort. The kids have to take the original documents with them, and have to be on the Island 48 hours before the wedding.
Almost every resort in Jamaica will have a wedding package.
I don’t know what the requirements are for Barbados or BVI
