Honeymoon?
my husband and i are thinking of going to malysia for our honeymoon. that would be sometime around the beginning of nov.
is this a good time-expecially weather wise?
we’re planning on staying in kuala lampur and perhaps taking day trips to nearby places-is that ok or should we consider staying nights at some of the tourist destinations?
is it cheaper to book tours to singapore and thailand from there or should we just do it from home?
thanks

november weather should be fine and as all the festivities would be over by then. i reckon you should head to singapore then travel your way up to kuala lumpur by bus (4 and a half hour trip) then you can fly to bangkok with airasia.com but book your tickets as soon as. you can also have the alternative of taking the bus to penang from kuala lumpur. thats 4 hrs bus from kl. for your rooms book with asiarooms.com it is heaps cheaper. have fun discovering asia.
the weather in kuala lumpur was just find and you choose the right place to go honeymoon…. kuala lumpur have all the things you want to find as its was the largest city in malaysia…
if you want to go for a day trip, you can rent a car, using taxi or LRT….
Weather-wise it is alright for beaches on the west coast of Peninsula Malaysia but the east coast, monsoon season is starting already. The best to head for east coast islands are from late Feb to middle Oct. Other than that the monsoon makes the sea too choppy and dangerous to swim and snorkel in.
On the west cost the beaches are still nicest in Langkawi island – that place is a duty-free island too. If you can afford it I suggest you honeymoon at The Andaman resort in Langkawi where guests get their own private beach, and lovely chalets look out to sea.
