Should we pay for our wedding planner to eat at the reception and rehearsal dinner?

We’re hiring a wedding planner to take care of the details mostly of the day – not really for the details before (which are the fun details). He’ll also help us decorate and such.
Should we pay for him to eat at the reception? I think so… but what about the rehearsal dinner?

Yes, you should.
While it’s true that it’s part of his workday, you don’t want him to go off someplace else to get something to eat and you honestly shouldn’t expect him to work more than 4 hours without something to eat.
Keep him convenient to answer any questions and to deal with any situations which may arise during the festivities. Keep him happy; he’s under a lot of stress, too!
If he’ll be at the rehearsal, it would be nice for you to include him in the dinner.
Yes!
yes, whenever he is present you feed him.
