Expert Advice About Beach Wedding Planning And Destination Wedding Locations.
My boyfriend’s brother is getting married in January. He will be the best man. The wedding is pretty formal and I’m not sure how formal I should dress. I, myself, am not in the wedding, but could possibly be asked to sit at the head table with them.
I need some ideas of good gifts for my maid of honor and my fiances best man!! The weddings going to be by the beach..
I’m having a small beach wedding with only a MOH and best man in wedding party and would like to do a light blue and pink for the colors. How can I incorporate the pink on MOH with the blue on BM? I will be wearing a super pale pink dress and fiance a white button up linen shirt, tan pants and blue tie. What should I put the BM in and is this even going to look right at all??? Thanks for your help!
Currently I’m trying to plan my wedding for next summer, since I’m making all of the dresses and such I started a little while back. I haven’t finished either dress but here are the pictures that I am using for inspiration.

The flower girls are the same, but I have made my dress a champagne color rather than orange. The girls section has been easy, its just me, Ely and Zoey (my soon to be daughters) since I don’t have any brides maids. The thing is I want to find ideas for mens clothing but I am having no luck! The way our wedding party is working is that my fiancee has his best man, and than we have his two little girls, his nephews the ringbearer and my son is walking me down the aisle, hes 16 and wants to match me more than my fiancees side of the wedding, not sure how to make that work…
I would love to find some mens outfits that are interesting (rather than just black suits) that would match our two dresses. I’m totally drawing a blank, I’ve never been very good at thinking of mens clothing…
It would be great to get some ideas, pictures would help the most since I will be working of them to make all my outfits. Most of all I just need some places to start from, and some original ideas for mens clothing!

I posted what my future wedding would look like and after getting feedback, i’m thinking the ocean theme my future fiance (he told me my ring is coming soon and his sister also slipped it’s going to happen soon too) and I started planning the wedding together the past few months. everything is pretty much picked out but our beach theme just doesn’t fit w/our colors and environment. can you give me some ideas (post is long but fun to read and i need help!!!)

I am the maid of honor in a very small destination wedding (20ish people). The bride lives across the country and there isn’t a wedding party besides a maid of honor and best man. The wedding events are all planned out for most of the trip. What are my responsibilities as maid of honor? Also, what is an appropriate wedding gift?

If I can find matching shirts for the best man and ring bearer, should they all be in the same design shirt?
The bigger question is: since I can find the same design in a dress, should/could the matron of honor and flower girl wear what the groom is wearing? With me, the bride, wearing something casual but white/ivory?

Basically she doesn’t want to do it because she doesn’t feel like she has any connection to them other than through me. So she told my sister that neither I nor her would be in the wedding. Now my brother has asked me to be his best man, but again my wife said she wasn’t going to be in the wedding. I told her that she’s being rude by not being in their weddings, especially since she’s already excluded me from my sister’s as well. We did not get married in a church, so we didn’t have a wedding party (Hawaii on the beach at sunset… only us). Shouldn’t family member be in a wedding party when asked?

My wife has been using my sister’s driveway to park for the past three years when she goes to work (my sister lives directly across the street from where my wife works). It has saved her hundreds of dollars in parking fees and time (since she doesn’t have to rid the shuttle to the remote parking area). You would think that my wife could be courteous and oblige my sister’s wish for her to be in her wedding party. Also, my sisters through my wife a bridal shower before we left for Hawaii. My wife says that it wasn’t to her liking that they didn’t put enough of "her" into the planning, so she refuses to be a part of these wedding. In my opinion, she is acting very immature.
As I told her: I can get a new wife, but I can’t get new siblings. (Just a little immaturity back at her)
