right now i am trying to figure out if i want to spend the .5K + on a wedding videographer or buying a good video camera for around 0 and have one of my friends shoot from a tripod. i have looked at raw and the cheapest in the area is 0
i am looking at dong it myself for not only the money but because frankly >< i can do a better job at editing the damn video then half these videographers can.
so whats the pros and con’s to doing this. as i said we’re looking at having a friend do it with a tripod so there won’t be shaking.

and my friend is a student at college for photography, video recording is not that hard. you need a better eye for photography then you need for videography.
and budget is well.. we’re over budget. we can’t really afford anymore but i want a nice video of my wedding
i am having a destination wedding and we are renting a villa for a week for a family of 12 after the wedding in the afternoon/evening we are having our own reception(no big meal just snacks as will have already had that) with our own pre recorded music etc, but needs some ideas for tropical centre pieces, drinks, decorations etc its on a budget so fairly cheap but nice and classy
I have a budget of ,000 for my wedding and need to find a venue that provides, the food, alcohol and the space at around 00. If there is nothing that cheap, where can I rent just the location and use an outside caterer?
We’re looking for a place that is remotely private, but with plenty of things to do; such as restaurants, snorkeling, hiking, site seeing, or something! We want something that is tropical and wont kill our budget. We’ve looked at the Caribbean and Hawaii and those are our main interests but haven’t found anything that is really nice at an affordable rate. We would also like to have a long honeymoon so that is why the price is a big issue.
My fiance and I would like to have a destination wedding sometime between February and April of next year. We really don’t want to go anywhere tropical.
My hope is to keep things budget friendly and stay in the United States.
The plan is to have about ten of our closest family members fly with us over a weekend. We’ll get married and then finish out our honeymoon on location. When we return we are going to have a simple/casual party for the rest of our guests.

My fiance and I are planning our wedding for next May. We live in Atlanta but want to get married on the beach. We are thinking about Tybee Island, or somewhere that is a reasonable drive for our guests. I am new to the wedding planning thing, and we are on somewhat of a budget so I am trying to find prices on beach weddings. Another big thing is the reception. We want someplace that we do NOT have to have our food catered by a company. Instead, we want to have snack foods… like Chick-fil-a trays and little things like that. I want something classy and nice, but afforadable since we are paying for the wedding and reception ourselves. We are expecting 50-70 guests. Like I said, our hearts aren’t set on Tybee, but we want a beach close by there! Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Have you been to any nice wedding receptions in the Detroit-Metro area that cost under 00? We are planning our wedding from Japan right now, so we can’t go around to search for a venue until May but want a head start. Brides.com, Theweddingchannel.com, and TheKnot all have very few venues in detroit to choose from online. I contacted the Roostertail, downtown hotels, a couple boats and a couple golf clubs… but its way too expensive. We need to spend less than 50 per person. Please Please PLEASE send me some indoor reception ideas that will work for a guest list of 100 people… within a budget. If we can’t find a reasonable price for a reception we will have to do a destination wedding in Jamaica without family and friends…which isn’t bad at all, we just want to figure out if there is a way we could include family and friends by having the wedding in Detroit. We attend a beautiful church, so the actual wedding ceremony will be taken care of at no cost.

I’m looking for your basic package, no favors and I don’t care about a light show or any of that.
I’ve received my lowest quote saying he’d inc a light show & a basic pkg (mc, mic, library of songs, requests) for 0. Only he is based about 50 miles away. That doesn’t make sense to me?
My highest quote is 50 with some more perks added in.
