Expert Advice About Beach Wedding Planning And Destination Wedding Locations.
My friend is getting married in two weeks and I don’t know what to wear. What colors and looks are appropriate? I need to know asap. Also, the wedding is at 5pm.
Ok I have almost everything planned. The reception hotel provides candleoperas so I am not spending extra money on centerpieces.
The colors of the dress are bronze(light brown) and creme, and accent is blue.
Cake is criss crosses.
Favors: Sugar cookies that look like man. Last name going to be sugarman
Also wanted to do place cards that have there names attached to a sand shell. Is that too much??
Oh invitations have a shells shaped like a heart, so theme hearts and shells??
Oh and the wedding on the first day of summer so naming places we like to go in the summer.
Guest book, wedding wish bowl. Cutting the paper to look like waves. They have special scissors.
So should I do the sugar cookies or the place cards or both??
I will be attending my boyfriend’s brother’s wedding next month. I saw this dress I really like but it’s similar to the color of the bridesmaid dresses. I’m not sure if it’s ok to get this dress and wear it to the wedding. Is it ok for me to wear the same colors of the bridal party or should I stay away from their colors?

I am really not sure because it’s kinda still "summer" but i don’t think the summer-themed stuff (beach chairs/flip flops) is appropriate but it’s really not "fall" either. So what season would you put it in? What type of favors?
For my colors, I want my bridesmaids to wear Navy. Then I was thinking lighter purple and silver - but then that sounds too "winter" to me!

I’m in my friend’s wedding and want to make it special for her and get a banner personalized for her bridal shower. Her colors are Teal and Lime.
I’ve gone to Party City but the colors they’ve got are pink pink pink and more pink!
Our colors for the wedding are different shades of peach and just some white here and there. Our cake is going to be peach colored and we are having peach rose petals. We actually want to use roses for decoration on the cake but we have concerns. I read some where that roses wilt quickly when not in water. I also read that you have to get special roses that are grown pesticide-free (or something like that). I’m wondering if you do have to get special rose and where do you find them? Also, how fast does the roses on a cake wilt? Can you tell that they are wilted? And if roses aren’t the best choice for a cake what would be a would still go with peach and rose petals?
I’m thinking about have a Tiffany Blue Wedding. What do people think of this. Has anyone been to this type of a wedding before. I brought my idea up to a friend. She told me it was a bit childish. I didn’t think so. I don’t plan on playing up the Tiffany’s aspect. I’ll have a blue box cake, card box and favors. But nothing else. I’m just using the colors. My reception site also over looks the beach. Therefore, I was thinking about incorporating a beach theme into the centerpieces. What do you think?

I need some ideas. I want to have a laid back BBQ wedding reception at the beach. They have these picnic areas you can rent. I was thinking of having Famous Daves BBQ cater it. But I need ideas for favors and decorations. I wanted the colors to be pinks greens and white. And I figured that the wedding will be in august/september. I know that I want a cupcake tower with a small cake on top for us to cut. And I also want a candy buffet. The place where we are having it is right on the beach so guests will be able to go swimming and everything. I want it to feel like a family BBQ at the beach. Its not going to be a "traditional" wedding. I am a very crafty person so I want to make as many things as possible. Even the invitations if possible.

I am getting married on the Beach in Sept. My colors are blue and yellow (blue will be wedding party dress and yellow and white flowers). Any ideas on cheaper beach like flowers in yellow and white with maybe a hint of blue? Its just me and one maid of honor.

I read somewhere that white doesn’t look so nice. Does anyone have a picture of someone in an ivory dress with white flowers? My other colors will be a pale yellow and a nice purple. Not too dark but not pale either. Wedding is in July. Thanks!
