What exactly is a bridal trunk show? I know they show new dresses but after the show do they still have the new dresses on display at the store? I made an appointment and due to a lot of things going wrong I couldn’t go and the show is over now. It’s my favorite bridal store.

My mom bought me the book "Bridal Bargains" and it said that most bridal shops tear out the tags from the dresses so you can’t actually see who made it or what fabric content is of the dress. Is this true?

I’ve only been to one bridal shop in the last year but all of the dresses had the original tags on them. I was just wondering if this "tag ripping" policy was really that widespread.

I have a dark underarm and i have chicken skin which there are small dots in my underarm… how can i clear them into a clear, soft, white skin in my underarm?? any good products or soft whitening deodorants that are true in whitening ur underarm?? and how do i get rid of chicken skin in my underarm??? i really wanna wear sleeveless shirts and swimming suits specially it’s summer now when i go everywhere or at the beach… so i can be comfortable… even at weddings so that I can wear dresses now.. please help me guys.. please thank you so much if you will help me i would be so grateful.. thank you!!!! =)

I am trying to coordinate my wedding colors. I really like the blue and green idea but now I am having trouble and dont know if they will work. Whats your thoughts on the combo? I would prefer blue dresses with a green sash for the girls, tan suits for the guys with white shirts and a green and blue stripped tie. Then my decision gets harder with the flowers. Do I just keep it blue and green or should I add some pinks into them? Please help. Any pictures would be great!

I’d really like to wear my wedding dress and have the wedding party wear thier wedding clothing so that the bridesmaids can wear their dresses a second time and guests will get to see us in person in our wedding gear. Do you think this appropriate? I really want to do this, get another wear out of everything, otherwise the wedding party and I would probably want to buy another nice new outfit to wear to that, so it would give us another chance to wear it for our money and prevent the wedding party from stressing over what to wear. What do you think?
The guys wont be wearing tuxes, they will be wearing dress shirts and dress pants with optinal suit jacket.

I want my wedding to be casual.. not jeans/t-shirts but not tuxedos. I’m getting married next September. I know the girls are going to be in dresses of course, but I’m still unsure of a color scheme and what that guys should wear… any help would be greatly appreciated =D

I don’t know what my colors are yet… I want something good for the season. The dresses are going to be pretty but not too fancy…not sure on the style yet.. wow, I need to do some serious planning! =)

Do you think it would be ok if I actually wore a bridesmaids dress as a wedding dress? I bought a dress at Bloomingdales for a hundred bucks but I am still looking. It’ s a beach wedding and the dress is very casual. Kind of bohimian like. I just found a nice dress on davidbridal.com but it’s for the maids. I am not looking to spend a lot of money. Any suggestions? Do you think it would be very noticeable?

I am going to a wedding in early november it is suppose to take place in northern Georgia and I have no idea what to wear. I’m 18 and I would prefer a semi formal dress. ANy suggestions on where to look or links of dresses that would be appropriate? My date is also a Marine so his uniform is navy blue. So maybe something that would look good with navy blue?

Im going to my brother in laws wedding next month (we arent in the wedding at all) and I know that women arent supposed to wear white because it will compete with the bride. Does this just apply to dresses? I was thinking I would wear white pants and a white tank top, with a see through black long sleeve shirt…thing…over it. Is this to much white? I dont do dresses or dressing up so this was as nice as I could come up with =)
Not really the opinion of other people im worried about, I just dont want to upset the bride.
I’d wear the same to a Christmas mass if I were to go to them as well.
Its not so much a "tank top" as something to go under the black top. Its a black long sleeve button up top, the tank top wont be the focus at all. And I dont do dresses. Plus, its a casual outdoor wedding.

A lot of the dresses I happen to find (and like!) are all white! I don’t want to be "that girl" who wears a white dress to a wedding. I would normally wear black but I would rather wear a light color to a beach wedding in Mexico. I’m not a pastel/floral print kind of girl and some of the cutest dresses for spring/summer are all, well, white! I would appreciate any advice!

I have a tattoo on my left shoulder that is about the size of a hand that I need to cover because my fiancee’s family is very very conservative. I am getting married on the beach in the summer so a long sleeve dress or jacket isn’t really appropriate. Does anyone have any links to dresses that are more modern, but still cover my back completely. Lace doesn’t cover my tattoo enough.

I am getting married in Aug on a beach. I can not find any websites that truely help me. I want my bridesmades (3) to wear sundresses (could be floral could be solid) If solid colors they don’t have to match if floral they do. But i cant find any dresses ANYWHERE! My dress is also very informal and the groom will wear a white button up shirt with kaki shorts and the groomsman will wear hawian theamed shirts to match the bridesmaids. Any ideas as to websites that give beach wedding ideas? Any idea where to find bridesmaid/groomsmen wear? I live in West Michigan if that counts for anything. I’ve even considered having them made if i can find the right patterns and material.

What is a stock piece? The reason why I went to a bridal shop is to get a new dress! I bought one of the most expensive dresses there – I really hope its not a sample piece! I paid way too much.
