Expert Advice About Beach Wedding Planning And Destination Wedding Locations.
We’re heading to Playa del Carmen for our honeymoon and don’t know the best way to pay for things, including our all-inclusive resort. Put it all on a credit card? Bring U.S. cash? Bring traveler’s checks? Not sure how many places down there accept each type of money. Advice, please!
I’m going to a wedding by the beach and have a really cute, really simple knee length red and white skirt. The only thing I have to wear with the skirt is a simple white top. The outfit itself looks far from bridal, but I know that some people are really hung up on the no white at weddings rule. What should I do?

27 of us will go to OBX next Summer. 13 adults, 14 kids aged 6 to 16. Some of us crave quiet privacy, while others among us want more nearby activities and don’t mind a more crowded beach. What are the good arguments in favor of one area vs. the other. This is a bit of a splurge for us as we celebrate a 50th wedding anniv, so we’ll go oceanfront.
My stepson is planning a beach wedding in Florida next August. I am not very tolerant of the heat, so I would rather not wear a formal gown, but at the same time, I don’t want to be too informal for a wedding. My future step daugther in law will be wearing a traditional wedding dress and my step son wants to wear a tux (yes, a tux, in August, in Florida, on the beach!).
I know a lot of designers are catering to the informal destination wedding for bridal gowns. Does anyone know of any designers who are catering to these types of weddings for the mother of the bride/groom?
TB–I tried. They were in Florida a couple weeks ago scouting out resorts to have the wedding and the wedding coordinators tried to tell them too. They will hear nothing of it. They basically want to have a regular church wedding, but on a beach in Florida. And it’s their wedding…if he wants to spend it passed out from heat exhaustion, who am I to judge?

We are having a Garden wedding. and for our favors we are going to by small pots and have our names/date calligraphed on them. We want to plant seeds in them and let it be a surprise as to what flowers will bloom. But we can’t even figure out what flower to put inthem!?!
Any ideas on A small (and will stay small) purple or blue flower that is low maintanance that we could plant in the pots?
