Expert Advice About Beach Wedding Planning And Destination Wedding Locations.
i am going to myrtle beach for about a week for my sisters wedding (im the maid of honor) and i dont know what to expect as far as weather, so i was wondering what to pack. thanx!
my friend is getting married away and having only a maid of honor (i wont be there because its way to expensive and we’re planning for a family) but when they get back she’s having a casual reception and she wants bridesmaid there. and she wants us to wear bridesmaid dresses. is this strange? i think because its so informal we just wear our own dresses in the same color family and sit at a head table to show our importance. of course if its what she really wants we have to do it but im thinking its weird to do that.
even if we do go to the wedding on the island she wont have us in the wedding there.
I got engaged back in May of this year and my wedding is in May of 2012. How soon can I have a bridal shower? Can I throw one for myself? Is it acceptable to ask my Maid of Honor when she plans or if she plans to have a bridal shower for me?
One of my best friends has asked me to be her Maid of Honor and shes having a wedding out of state. I barely make enough money to cover my bills every month and she isn’t paying for the trip. Is there a way I can turn her down or should she be paying for it? Im the only one in her wedding party also. Am I crazy here??

My destination wedding is several months from now and my bridesmaids are now planning my shower. My maid of honor is planning a traditional shower for me, and my bridesmaids are planning a couples shower. They plan on only inviting those who are invited to the wedding, however, I have had some people, who are not invited to the wedding ask me to send them a shower invite since they will not be able to attend the wedding. My fiancee and I will not be having a reception when we return. Since they have personally asked me to be invited to the shower, should I still send them an invite. I don’t want them to feel left out since they were not invited to the wedding. If I should invite them, should I the put "no gifts necessary" on their particular shower invite? I see a problem doing this too, because if they show up with no gift and everybody else has gifts they might feel bad. Any input is appreciated.
The reason why these people were not invited is because the venue we are having our wedding at only allows 50 guests including bride/groom and wedding party. Having these people and family covers the 50 people.
My friend is having a destination wedding and I am the Maid of Honor. What are my general duties?
The guests will arrive on a Saturday morning and the bachelorette party will be that same evening. The wedding will be that following Monday. Should I plan a bridal shower too? Maybe for Sunday, or Saturday before the bachelorette party? (Most guests including myself all live far apart and it would be difficult to have a bridal shower ahead of time).

well im not the bride. im the maid of honor. my sister just recently decided to cancel ALL her wedding plans and push up her marriage by getting married in the caribbean in late july. Now she needs a beach wedding dress. Problem im only 18 and dont know really here to look. i know she wants rouching coming from one side and she wants jewels on the dress. me and her have the same taste in clothes so she wants me to search for her. i found one that she loved but its from china and she believes its not reliable at all.. help? some websites for ordering a dress thats in the U.S.

Color scheme is black,white and purple,due to dress problems im dressing my bridesmaids in black w/purple ribbon and my maid of honor in purple dress w/black ribbon.
