On the wedding invitation, do you state the address of the church, or just the church name and city (everything will be held in a large city)? As well, for the reception, which is to be held at a different location later on in the day, how would I word this, and would I put the name of the location and address, or just the city where the location is at?
Here is what our invitations say so far:
Together with their families
Miss. X
and
Mr. Y
request the honour of your presence
at their marriage
Saturday the twenty-first of _____
Two thousand and ______
at ___o’clock in the afternoon
_____________United Church
City, Saskatchewan
Reception to follow
__________Hotel
city, Saskatchewan
The rose speaks of love silently, in a language
known only to the heart. –Unknown
I should also note that we have set up a wedding website, which will have all of the location information there, but this is assuming that everyone has access to the internet. Also, what would be a proper way to let invited guests know about the website? Would I add an insert in with the invitation just stating that more information and details are available for them there?
