Actually whether after marriage or in case of new job or new assignment the honeymoon period or the initial few days are toughest and difficult. Those are days of adjustments , compromises , understanding and learning. Still why it is called honeymoon period ?
I work in a food processing facility we were told that we could not wear any jewelry including our wedding rings . They have to be removed even if you had to have them cut off is this legal? I do not remove mine only to clean them. I need my job..but it goes against my believes and marriage vows. Anyone have any legal advice on this matter?

OR will it still be OK to word them like this (as I originally planned to):
Together with their parents Sarah Johnson and Sam Smith request the honor of your presence at their marriage …
On the wedding invitation, do you state the address of the church, or just the church name and city (everything will be held in a large city)? As well, for the reception, which is to be held at a different location later on in the day, how would I word this, and would I put the name of the location and address, or just the city where the location is at?

I should also note that we have set up a wedding website, which will have all of the location information there, but this is assuming that everyone has access to the internet. Also, what would be a proper way to let invited guests know about the website? Would I add an insert in with the invitation just stating that more information and details are available for them there?

well im not the bride. im the maid of honor. my sister just recently decided to cancel ALL her wedding plans and push up her marriage by getting married in the caribbean in late july. Now she needs a beach wedding dress. I support love, and anyone’s right to express that in matrimony. So, that part is not an issue for me. I hesitate to ask this question, so as not to give the haters fodder, but it has not gone away. My question is about a related legal institution – common law marriage. If I have a friend who is also male, and we are roommates for a few years, would we then be considered common law married if same sex marriage was made legal?

I am in love with my boyfriend of six years, and recently we have been talking more and more about marriage. The only hitch is that we have different expectations. You see he has an aversion to being physical (it took me four years to get the guy to kiss me), and while I respect that I am afraid of how much matrimony will change this. I would like children, however he has a problem with having sex (we have been abstinent). It’s not that he is incapable, he just has an aversion to it.
My problem is that I don’t want to marry a man who isn’t willing to be my best friend and my husband. I don’t want to marry him if he wont have sex once married. Am I emotionally shallow for thinking this way? Is there anything in the Bible about having sex for pleasure (when married) and whether it is right or wrong?
Hello. My fiance’ and I have decided we want a destination wedding, down south and then we are going to go on a cruise for our honeymoon. We would like to get married in the Catholic church but am wondering how hard the process will be to book a church and get a priest over the phone, being out of state and not ever meeting the priest beforehand. I honestly dont care what the church looks like, so thats not a problem, I just want to find one and book it.
Has anyone here ever done this sort of thing or know someone who has? How easy do you think this will be?
P.S. We already have an annulment for his first marriage and just finished our catholic marriage prep course today.
