I have a budget but I want the photos to be AMAZING. I have been researching a lot but I would prefer some advice from someone who has actually used someone that they just loved. Also maybe someone who has experience at Lake Las Vegas. Thank you!!

they either do photos or video for an event [[not both]] weird i know!

a digital album i think its a 12X12 but i dont know the exact measurements its pretty big though with lots of pages! 300+
& the package had like big pictures but i didn’t want anything bigger than 11X14
so in exchange we are getting a regular album that holds 60 additional 4X6 picts of our choice of course 
& it covers the whole event from 2 hrs before the church ceremony at my house to the park for picts till 10pm
& the thing is that my fiance doesn’t want to have a video
he says nobody is going to sit down to watch 8 hrs worth of a video not even 4 [[a basic package]] & its a waste of money
its not a money issue but he just don’t feel the need of one but my mom would want video to cover from the time im getting married till it ends!
she’s not paying for it but she says it would be nice!
wat do you think? i want at least a basic package to have some memories of it but idk if its really a waste of money! as long as i have the photos im happy ;D
I want to find someway to make extra money on the side every month. And I remembered when I was searching for my wedding cake I wanted a good price. And a nice one. They can arrange from 150 – 500. So any opinions would someone buy there cake from someone who was an amature but had good photos to prove nice cakes.
Well established wedding dj been in the buisiness over 20 years. We are the top of the line dj we dress to the 9′s we also take photos and put a free gallery online. One month before each wedding we meet up with the bride& groom to be & go through the whole wedding from start to finish which includes songs bridal waltz wedding bouquet games speeches..everything. Now one couple is saying they are unhappy with the performance from 10pm till midnight (they are happy with everything else) they say that from this time knowone danced.. They knew what music we would be playing (which usually kicks off..as weve been in the buisiness so long we know what works & what doesn’t) is it our fault if that particular crowd didn’t dance?as I said the 2hr interview 1 month before covers this… Followed by signed contract. Any advice?
I was just informed by my fiance’s mother that his father will refuse to wear a tux to our wedding. I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable so I thought perhaps I could just ask him to wear khakis and a blue plaid shirt (since our colors are blue and white). I think if I do this, my dad should also wear something similar so photos will look better. Also I could have the ringbearer (my little brother) wear the same thing. I thought of putting the groomsmen in that too, but I think tuxs would be better for them. My wedding will be pretty casual anyway, so do you think this would look okay? Just the groom and groomsmen in tuxs? Also, should I ask my mother and his to pick a similar dress or at least the same color? Another question: My dad is bald and looks bad without a hat… however I’m getting married in a church so he can’t really wear one… what would be your suggestions there? Thanks for all opinions
Several attempts to contact my wedding photographer and she will not return any phone calls and my emails. I’ve tried about 7 times in the past 3 weeks to get ahold of her because 3 weeks ago she said my photos would be done and nothing. Why would she not respond to me AT ALL?
She is a girl that worked with my best friend and my best friend referred her. She seems very nice but I’m just stressed that she won’t give me any explanation.
I am not a professonal photographer by any means, however, I am always asked by family and friends to not only take their personal photographs but to do their wedding and event photography. They all say that I have a special talent and I Should have been a photographer and not a nurse. I do take some fantastic photos and have been thinking about offering my services for a fee.
I have samples to show and would be upfront about being an ametuer. Would you trust your precious wedding pics to someone like me?
My husband is a wedding photographer in So. California and his cheapest package is 1,500. We run into MANY brides that tell us that they LOVE his work but they only want to spend about 500-1,000 on a wedding photographer. Of course some of them are on a budget and they have no choice. But, many do not see the value in hiring a good photographer.
So, my question to you: Have you hired the wrong person for the job and now regret it? Is there anyone unhappy with their pictures? Did you hire a cheap photographer and get great or terrible photos? I was hoping to have some personal experiences to share with those couples who can afford a good photographer but don’t understand the importance in how those pictures will matter in the years to come.
I understand that just because a photographer charges more he is not always better. But generally, with in reason, you get what you pay for.
I’m looking for an inexpensive wedding photographer in the Houston area. It seems like everyone wants 00 plus for the service. I’m having a small wedding and would rather not break my budget on the photos. I know ten years down the road the photos will be how we remember our day so any suggestions would be helpful.
I’m hoping to not spend more than 800. I like the idea of using "a la carte" plans. Some wedding packages include up to 5 hours of photos. I’m hoping I can get a better price for only 2-3 hours. I think it’s want to go with a professional as well.
We ordered a wedding package for 1350 which is a standard price in our area, but after the wedding we realized we didnt get the copyrights to our photos. We figured we did since almost every other place we looked did so, and didnt even think about it since we booked a photographer we sort of knew, and they were just opening their studio. How much do you think would be a reasoable amount to offer for the rights to our photos?

It’s our face-to-face meeting. I’ve been to his website and love his work. His costs are more than reasonable and he photographed an acquaintance’s wedding with rave reviews and photos.
What should I expect from this face to face meeting? What should I be asking him? Everyone says you should meet people face to face, but I don’t know where to go from there.
My fiance and I are planning to go to Disney World for our honey moon. We had planned on wearing our wedding attire the first day to get some photos at Disney World in it. However, I have heard a rumor that Disney doesn’t allow this. So, my questions are:
1. Does Disney Actually forbid visitors from wearing wedding attire?
2. How is this enforced? Do they just deny your entry tell you to change your clothes and come back?
3. Why are they such #&@)%&#@(& about this?

I am asking from a pgotographer’s point if his photos are of good quality, lighting resoloution.
And something goes wrong and the photos don’t come out. EG the digital memory gets erased by accident.
How do you explain this to the client?
