I need an answer as soon as possible, the wedding is tomorrow night and I hadn’t put much thought into what my hubby and myself would be wearing. Would slacks and a short sleeved button up be okay for him? And for me a nice summery dress to my knees with sandals or nice flip flops?
The ceremony is at 6pm and it’s in Southern California if that makes any difference.

We got invited to one in Jamaca from someone we hardly know. It’s at Sandals. I was wondering if the couple gets a free wedding for booking all these rooms.

We are looking at Mexico vs Jamaica vs Bahamas and Couples vs Sandals vs Dreams Resorts. We want a long white beach, Catholic ceremony, travel in April, and want to take off to another resort afterwards as our ‘honeymoon’ and away from guests, and all inclusive. Any suggestions?

I want to have a destination wedding at Sandals in the Bahamas and I was wondering if you guys could tell me your experiences on that, good and bad. Also tell me the things that you might have changed for your wedding and if you bought any special wedding packages. Also, please leave a contact so I could ask questions.

We are having a destination wedding, followed by a clambake at home for all our friends and family. This will be a very casual event with games, etc, and we want our guests to wear something they will feel comfortable running around in. I don’t care if someone doesn’t choose to play horseshoes or baseball, but I’d hate to think they wish they could, if only they were dressed for it…we can’t figure out how to convey this on the invitation. Does "casual picnic attire, please" do the trick, or what else can I say? We want people to come in shorts, sandals, sneakers, etc…if we just put casual attire, people will probably wear khakis and golf shirts, etc–overdressed for our event…Thanks for any ideas! We don’t want to get too wordy, either, if we can help it.
I wasn’t very clear, now that I read my ? again…our reception is a clambake to be held 3 months after the destination wedding in our local area at a picnic grove–not home like our backyard…sorry about that!
We are doing separate invites–I’m only worried about the clambake reception for everyone…the other one is ok already…

I am looking to have my wedding at a Sandals Resort. I’ve been to a couple of the resorts on vacation but I am wondering how well they organize weddings and how custom I could make it. Please share your story and indicate which Sandals or Beaches Resort you were at. Thanks!

My fiancee and i want to get married on a beach somewhere, with only a few close friends. Does anyone know any good companies that provide services (photographers, decorations, food, etc) for these types of weddings? I have looked at Sandals.com, but it seems a little cheesy/tourist-y. How do i make sure the company i use for all this is a reputable company, since its so far away and i won’t be able to meet with the real people before the week of the wedding?

okay so i am planning on having a beach wedding, not next spring but the one following it. it is going to be at good harbour beach in gloucester mass. and i was curious if it would be trashy ( pam anderson ish) if i wore a white bikini?
i would wear a white wrap skirt as well to give it more of the wedding dress feel. but i would hate to ruin a dress with all the sand, and i would have to either be bare foot of wear sandals because of the sand. i know i have a while still to plan but i just wanted other people imput on this.
also what should the groom wear if i did go with the bikini and sarong?

I am getting ready to start planning destination wedding. We have not chosen the location yet but I’m thinking the carribbean. We would like to pay for some/all of our guests’ rooms (up to 50 people). I originally wanted to rent a villa but can’t seem to find any to accomodate that many people. Does anyone have any recommendations on a location/resort where I can get a good price for such a large group? I have heard that weddings at the chain resorts like Sandals and Beaches are very cookie cutter which is why I was thinking a villa would be better. Does anyone know of a large villa that is part of a resort? Maybe some guests can stay at the hotel and family in the villa? I am open to any ideas/recommendations.
How long ago were you at Sam lords castle? The site is not working and the few reviews I found are not so hot.

Places like Hedo, Sandals, Beaches…etc… This way,if people are really serious about seeing your wedding, they have to pay for their own trip! Is this fair? Or just a way for the bride and groom to actually save money? How many of you would go to a wedding at a resort somewhere in the Caribbean?

I’m a guy attending a friend’s destination wedding early April in Cabo San Lucas. It’s not formal, but I also don’t want to arrive in board shorts and sandals. Any recommendations on what to wear for the occassion.

My fiance and I are trying to decide on a sandals resort for our honeymoon…7 nights in the caribbean! The trouble is we cant decide between St. Lucia and Jamaica. And on top of that, which resorts? Does anyone out there frequent these locations? Which do you prefer? Please feel free to give me details!
