USMC Wedding on the Beach?
My fiance and I are at a disagreement about the destination of the wedding. We were going to do it on the beach of Cape Cod but I’m thinking that the Dress Blues with the Sword detail would be too formal for an informal location, but he seems to think it’ll look nice. I just can’t get a picture for it, so if anyone has any pictures or examples of a USMC Beach wedding in Full Dress Uniforms, please let me know. Or if you know of anyone that did it, then let me know how it looked. Thank you very much.

I would definitely say go for it. My fiance is a corpsman in the Navy and is wearing his dress uniform for our wedding. We are having our wedding at the chapel on base and then the reception at the o’club. The thing is of course it’s right on the water so the majority of our pictures are going to be on the beach, etc. I have seen a few pictures while doing research and they all looked amazing. Cape Cod is a gorgeous place as I live a few hours away now and we were stationed there when I was younger. Very gorgeous landscapes. Congrats on your wedding!!!
I am getting married on the beach as well. I think it would look very very good. Form 2 x army people. If my boyfriend could get in his old dress green that is the way we would do it. But he is got fat in his old age. So its a no go for us.

I think that it would be great! I would just let him have his way on this one. He is probably very proud of being in the USMC and that is why he wants to wear the uniform. I would go for it!
