Why do people think my wedding band is fake?
It has 11 .30 diamonds and 11 .30 yellow sapphires, I wanted a band that had color in it cause I have a 1 carat 3 stone wedding ring and I thought putting color under it would really make it pop, and it did but women are always asking me where I got it and when I say Zales, they go " Oh it’s real"? Why is that, it didn’t look fake to me and my husband that’s why we bought it, why does it look fake to everyone else, is it because the yellow sapphires?

Your white diamonds may not be well cut. Yellow gold and yellow sapphire have a tendency to make poorly cut diamonds look warmer than they are. Find out what kind of diamonds they are and what kind of sapphires they are. Are they high quality, excellently cut diamonds? Ask an independent gemologist to take a look at your ring and tell you why this is the case. It’s hard to answer this question accurately without actually physically seeing your ring. Regardless of real or ‘looking fake’ if you love your ring, it doesn’t matter what anybody else says. This ring was given from the heart so that’s the most important point that matters.
Good Luck!
